Assistant Land Surveyor age 23-28 should be unmarried. Making surveys principally in connection with land sales & the issue of leases, plotting & finishing plans, set- ting out iots &c. should be a thoroughly qualified surveyor with experience in tri- gonometrical survey work in country of a rough hilly nature. He should be familar with Traverse work and be able to survey intricate City lots...

£300 and $244 travelling allowance per annum. No quarters or other allowances than the above. Salary &c. voted annually.
